The Very Best Cookie in the Whole Wide World is a nostalgic, joy-filled bakery inspired by growing up in the 80s and 90s. We believe in people over profit, high-quality ingredients, fair wages, and building community through really, really good cookies. We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable team member who loves working with people just as much as working with dough.
What You’ll DoThis is a dynamic, all-hands-on-deck role that supports the bakery in multiple ways:
Front of House & Customer ExperienceGreet customers warmly and create a welcoming, joyful in-store experience
Run point on customer service, order taking, and POS
Prepare espresso drinks and other beverages (we’ll train if needed)
Keep the front display stocked, clean, and visually appealing
Answer questions about products, ingredients, and offerings
Assist with baking cookies, brownies, Rice Krispy treats, and other baked goods
Portion dough, prep ingredients, and help with daily production
Follow recipes and food safety standards consistently
Keep kitchen and prep areas clean and organized
Pack and ship online orders with care and attention to detail
Label boxes, organize orders, and help manage shipping schedules
Ensure orders are accurate, on-brand, and beautifully packed
A positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Comfortable multitasking and switching between customer-facing and behind-the-scenes work
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~40 lbs
Food handling experience is a plus (but not required — we’ll train the right person)
Barista or espresso experience is a plus, not a must
Available for mornings, weekends, and/or holidays (flexible scheduling)
