We are seeking a Control Management Consultant to support our client's marketing execution process related to operational risk and controls.
The Control Management Consultant will join a marketing team supporting consumer marketing activities, advising marketing partners on how to balance business growth objectives while maintaining a robust control environment.
This role sits within a marketing services organization and is part of a team of operational risk professionals supporting end-to-end marketing communications. The team manages enterprise-mandated requirements related to operational risk frameworks, marketing governance processes, and audit readiness, and owns the comprehensive assessment of marketing and related supporting processes.
This individual will support first line of defense operational risk activities for consumer marketing initiatives. The role involves close partnership with teams responsible for customer acquisition across multiple channels, including email, paid search, media, phone, web, organic search, digital, and direct mail.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with a team of control management professionals to manage end-to-end compliance processes, collaborating with stakeholders across Marketing, Compliance, Operational Risk, Digital, and Control Management functions
Support large-scale operational risk programs
Enhance and optimize key controls and control functions
Evaluate the effectiveness of key controls and operational processes through testing and risk assessments
Conduct risk assessments for new initiatives and capabilities
Monitor, manage, and remediate control deficiencies
Ability to influence, collaborate cross-functionally, build strong stakeholder relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Experience supporting multiple large-scale operational risk programs
Self-motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and ad hoc tasks simultaneously
Ability to take a leadership role in partnering with colleagues to meet deliverables
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple business groups
Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
Knowledge of operational risk governance and management frameworks
Strong analytical skills
Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail
Prior experience in risk management, marketing, operations, compliance, audit, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required, experience with Visio nice to have

The starting pay range for this role is $34-37 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
