As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring that our electrical installations are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
• Maintain and update a database of costs for materials and labor to ensure competitive pricing.
• Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.
• Monitor project budgets and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrical estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
