Fellowship Place is recruiting for a full time Expressive Arts Coordinator to plan and conduct a broad range of expressive art groups for adults living with a mental illness. Groups may utilize painting, drawing, photography, writing, and music to promote self-expression, self-esteem, and self-advocacy. The Coordinator also organizes in-house art shows and community art shows that provide group participants with opportunities to exhibit and sell their art work. Applicants should have good motivational interviewing skills and experience facilitating groups for individuals facing a variety of challenges, including mental illness, trauma, poverty, and housing insecurity. Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Psychology or Art Therapy. Prior experience in positions where art was used as a therapeutic tool is very helpful.
