Job Description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest comfort in accordance with IHG Way of Clean standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and consistently clean environment for all guests and team members. Responsibilities:

• Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay

Qualifications:

• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Must be flexible
• Weekends are a must
