JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity to join the team at our Orleans Technical College as a Refrigeration Instructor . The Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating.
Responsibilities:
Provide instruction, as specified in the curriculum, in the basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating
Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks
Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory
Prepare curricula materials
Utilize varying delivery methods and media to keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day.
Maintain student attendance and grade rosters
This position is part-time, 2 evenings per week, 5:30pm-10:15pm.
Part-time instructor pay rate is $32.50.
