Maintenance Technician | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime.
• Install, commission, and de-commission manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of work performed.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, during all tasks.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex industrial machinery.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Commitment to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
• Relevant technical certification or degree, or equivalent on-the-job training.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Robotics troubleshooting experience
