Part-Time Weekend Nanny in Scarsdale, NY

Start Date: Early 2026
Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6:30 am -3:00 pm
Children: 4.5-year-old and 7-month-old

About the Family:

We are a warm, professional, dual-career household seeking a dependable and experienced full-time nanny to care for our two young children and a baby on the way. Both parents commute to Manhattan for work (with occasional work-from-home days), and we are looking for a dedicated, long-term caregiver to become a trusted extension of our family.

We deeply value someone who is vigilant and thoughtful when it comes to health, illness, and hygiene—especially in a household with a baby and a school-aged child.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $35/hour

• All federal holidays off

• 2 weeks paid vacation

• 2 sick days + 2 personal days

• 200 Health care stipend

• Car provided for use on the job

• Minimum 3-year commitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Full care of the baby, including feeding, changing, naps, and engaging in developmental activities

• Driving the 4-year-old to/from preschool, camp, and playdates

• Taking the baby to activities (library, classes, walks)

• Light cooking and meal prep for the children (mostly reheating from a food service)

• Supporting both children through age-appropriate milestones

• Maintaining a structured, nurturing, and engaging home environment

• Handling after-school routines for the older child

• Coordinating with a part-time nanny and household assistant

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-time nanny experience, including with infants and preschoolers

• 3–5 strong professional references

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Up-to-date on vaccinations (TDAP, COVID, Flu)

• Valid driver's license; must be comfortable driving in both suburbs and city (car provided)

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Comfortable working in a home with other staff

• Warm, organized, communicative, and energetic personality

• Comfortable with a dog in the home (no pet care required)
